DU JAT 2018 –The Delhi University conducts Delhi University Joint Admission Test (DU JAT) every year, for shortlisting students who wish to take admissions in undergraduate management programmes at institutes affiliated with Delhi University. DU JAT 2018 will take place on June 17, 2018 in an online (computer-based) mode from 4PM to 6PM. The application process has begun from May 15, 2018 and will continue till Thursday, June 7, 2018 (6 PM). Candidates who will completely fill the application form can obtain & download the DU JAT 2018 admit cards from around the month of June, 2018. The test duration in total is two hours; conducted in 18 cities across India. The results will be released in 10-15 days after the exam date commencement.  DU JAT 2018 is conducted for getting admissions in six stipulated colleges, which offer Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), and eight other colleges which offer B. A (Hons) in Business Economics and BBA (FIA) programmes. The final admissions will be for around 1162 seats across 15 participating institutes of DU JAT.

 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR DU JAT 2018

As prescribed by the officials of the Delhi University, all candidates who have cleared their senior secondary level exams can apply for DU JAT test, according to the eligibility criteria,. Following are the important points taken into consideration to get acknowledged about the criteria:

Eligible candidates are applicable to register for the DU JAT test by  filling the DU JAT 2018 application form which is available online before June 7, 2018; after which application portal will be closed.

Exam Pattern 2018 for DU JAT

DU JAT 2018 will be conducted in online mode (computer based) containing 100 questions to be answered by the candidates. The test will be of a duration of two hours and the total marks weightage for the exam is 300. According to the DU JAT 2018 exam pattern, the test will have four sections, which are Quantitative Ability, Reasoning & Analytical Ability, General English, and Business & General Awareness.For each correct answer four marks will be awarded and one mark will be reduced for each incorrect answer.

DU JAT 2018 EXAM CENTRES

DU JAT 2018 will be conducted in 18 different locations across India. The DU JAT ADMIT CARD contains the address of the exam centre alloted to the candidate mentioned clearly. These are the places where DU JAT will commence:

Admit card for DU JAT 2018

The authorities will tentatively release the DU JAT 2018 admit card/hall ticket for the candidates who have registered in the first week of June, 2018. The DU JAT admit card 2018 will contain:

Candidates should ensure that they carry their admit cards to the exam centre positively; as without the admit card/hall ticket applicants will not be allowed to sit in the DU JAT 2018 exam. Also, candidates must be acknowledged that the admit card is verified and signed by the invigilator in the exam hall.

Results of DU JAT 2018

It can be said that the Delhi University will announce the DU JAT 2018 results in the form of ranks as being done previously. The result of DU JAT 2018 will be announced for all those candidates who appear in the test in July. DU JAT result 2018 can be seen in online mode only. The results of DU JAT 2018 will be followed by the selection process which will be done on the basis of combined weighted average of percentage scored in the DU JAT and the percentage scored in the qualifying exam in the ratio of 65:35 respectively.

Cutoff for DU JAT 2018

 

The cutoff will be announced by the authorities of Deilhi University after the exam gets conducted and results are declared. The selection procedure will be conducted as per the DU JAT 2018 cutoff. It is likely that the cutoff will be announced in the third week of July 2018.

This is to bring to notice that there is no counselling process before the commencement of DU JAT 2018 exam. The allotment of course/college will be done by the Delhi University based on the option chosen by the applicants, which would be taken as final and no change will be allowed at any stage, thereafter.
