NEET 2018- Results,Marking scheme, Qualifying percentile, Cutoff

According to the dates issued by the CBSE which conducts NEET exam every year, NEET 2018 result will release on 5 June, 2018.

ABOUT NEET 2018

NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test ) is an entrance exam for the admission in the MBBS and BDS courses conducted by the CBSE Board every year. For admissions in respective courses at private as well as government colleges of dental or medical studies situated across the country , a student should clear the senior secondary examination with at least 50% passing marks in the following subjects- Physics, Chemistry , Biology/Biotechnology and Mathematics in order to apply for th e entrance exam. Taking into consideration, the data of the candidates that appeared for the exam, it has been found that a total number of 13, 26,725 aspirants took the exam.

ABOUT CBSE NEET 2018

NEET exam was conducted on May 6, 2018 at different test centres across the country via Pen & Paper mode only. The results will be declared by the CBSE board producing both the score and the rank of the candidate. This information will help the aspirants to draw the idea about whether they will get admissions in the desired courses or not. Score card or NEET rank card is issued thereafter which can be obtained from the official website.

NEET RESULT 2018 RELEASE DATE

NEET results 2018 will be announced online by June 5, 2018 on the official website. Qualifying candidates of NEET 2018 will be eligible for the further counselling and admission process. In order to get an overview of  the exam and cross-check your answers, candidates can check the answer key issued by CBSE in the last week of May, 2018. Hence, the aspirant can calculate his/her approximate score and the corresponding rank you may obtain in NEET result 2018. The answer key will be released by May 25, 2018 at 5.00 p.m. and counselling starts on June 12, 2018.

OBTAINING NEET RESULT 2018/online Rank card 2018

NEET result 2018 can be checked online on the official website. The result is obtained in one mode only, also NEET rank card can be downloaded from the official website only. There is no other mode to get the results.

Keep in mind the following steps to know your result and download your NEET rank card from the official portal:

 

NEET 2018 Results can also be alternatively obtained from the official website http://cbseneet.niv.in/ through the NEET login of the candidate’s login link in the home page by entering your registration number and password.

 

WHAT INFORMATION DOES RANK CARD GIVE?

Therefore, NEET Score and rank can be retrieved with the result of being qualified in the exam or not. For the admission and counselling process, it is important that the candidate carries this NEET rank card printout without which further process is not allowed.
